Welcome to the world of digital cameras

Film is out...electronic film is in! This is the new era of photography. Digital cameras, or "digicams", as they have come to be known, have become one of the fastest selling consumer items in history. Why? They are simple to use, versatile and offer increasingly better image quality.

Time was that you had to be a computer geek to understand how to use digicams. Not any more! There are a plethora of devices now coming on the market which enable you to take all the snaps you like and simply plug in to view, print or even copy the images to a CD or DVD. Beyond that, almost every drugstore in the country now has a digital film kiosk where you can insert your memory card or a CD and easily select prints to order.
