Beware cancellation fees!!!

One little known issue can come back to bite you if you decide to test a VoIP service then later cancel it - the cancellation fees. Some of the services do charge a fee if you cancel in less than a year. If you got the adapter for free, this is somewhat to be expected, however if there are unresolved technical issues which cause you to decide to cancel, you need to protest and escalate the issue to a customer advocate. So, a word to the wise...don't just click "yes" when the agreement flashes on the screen. Read it and understand your liability before proceeding.
